Scouting Video: RHP Stetson Allie, 2010 Draft

Stetson Allie reminds me of Allie Reynolds, partly because of the name, and partly because of the big arm and the power right-handed stuff. Right now, Allie projects as a first-round talent and among the first 2010 high school right-handers to come off the board. Baseball Beginnings has its first look at Allie right here, and a reminder that in this 2010 draft, we’ve got video, scouting reports and Q&As with prospects from all over the country. Allie is a guy that was easy to scout in the two-inning look at the Aflac game. The 6-2, 190 right-hander pitched at 92-93, but has been seen up at 96-97. His change-up at 79 is potentially devastating. Allie has a power build, especially in his legs and trunk, and projects to be an inning-eater on a contender. We’ll have more content on him as the 2010 draft nears.
