Dustin Ackley, CF
Games Seen: 2, Innings: 12 (Arizona Fall League, 11/09)
ORG: Seattle Mariners (North Carolina)

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Thin and wiry with young features, modest height and build. Minimal physical projection; will get stronger but not taller.

STRENGTHS: Explosive hands from LH side, covers outer half of plate. Capable of letting pitch get deep. Possess slightly above average ML power now, power projects one more grade up. Above average runner, 4.1, good first step with smooth athletic strides. Possesses average throwing arm, average throwing accuracy and is an average center fielder.

WEAKNESSES: No glaring weakness. Close to the finished product. Just needs to play.

SUMMARY: Should be everyday major league centerfielder for years to come. Reminds me of Darin Erstad. Should be consistent .300-.309 hitter with 19-21 HR power.
