Ty Linton is an intriguing player who might be the best two-sport Division I prospect in the 2010 MLB Draft. The Charlotte Christian HS prospect’s combination of power potential and athleticism make him a player to watch.

  1. David S. says:

Is he an IF or an OF? In September, you had him listed as a 1B.

  2. John Klima says:

I saw him in the summer at 1B although he was listed as OF. If he turns pro out of HS, I would try him in CF first to see if his speed and quickness play. If not, I’d swing him back to 1B where his athleticism would have more value for a team than it would in LF.

  3. Josh Hill says:

Played with Ty my whole life. Extremely aggressive work ethic, will work outside of practice to improve on ANYTHING he has not perfected. Great vision in CF, incredible hands, can hit any fastball, any, and if i know Ty, he will just continue to get stronger. Look out MLB, hes nasty.
