For me, Chris Bisson is the best defensive college second baseman I’ve seen for the 2010 Draft.
Chris Bisson, 2B
5-11, 185
Bats: L, Throws: R
Games seen: 1, Innings: 9
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Sleight frame, modest height and features.
STRENGTHS: Excellent defensive infielder. Soft hands and quick athletic actions; moves feet and positions himself. Range to left above-average, throwing release above-average. Above-average speed from left side. Spray hitter, puts ball in play.
WEAKNESSES: Lacks above-average arm strength and above-average range to right. Limited power and offensive capability, lacks authoritative contact. Struggled against right-handed breaking balls.
SUMMARY: Chance to be best defender at his position. Speed plays. Needs to develop strength and prove he can consistently put ball in play. Won’t hit for power or be impact offensive player, but speed and defense will give him value.
