This is what Angelo Gumbs looks like when he’s being himself offensively.
The first swing here resulted in a home run to center field. The third swing resulted in a double to straight-away center field. If you’ve followed Gumbs’s progression here at Beginnings, you know he’s developed from a younger player who fell into bad habits because he didn’t keep his hands and weight back into someone who is beginning to understand how to let his athletic attributes work for him. As far as athletes go, there are few as good as Gumbs in this draft.
