Because of Kellen Sweeney, I learned that they play wood bat baseball in the Spring in Iowa. I now want to move to Iowa.

This guy is Ryan Sweeney’s kid brother. Based on a very short look, I’d feel very comfortable saying he’s got a pretty good chance to meet him in the big leagues. In this video, Sweeney is already tipping his hand on why he looks like a future big leaguer. First, the body type is consistent with everyday major league outfielders. You don’t need a tape measure. Second, look at this guy’s firm front. You could raise a barn on this guy’s front leg. Next, the hands. They are fast and they do work. Finally, note the extension. And he’s left-handed! If I scouted Iowa, I would live on this guy’s doorstep and tell everyone I know he’s better than Clement.
