Scouting Video: Addison Reed, RHP, San Diego State (2010 Draft)

Addison Reed is probably going to find his way as a big and durable right-handed closer who can get on top of the ball and throw it down at 94-96.  He was a starter in 2010 for San Diego State, where he had to learn to pace himself. The first time I saw him was in 2009 as a closer when he came in for that guy who now plays for ESPN.

Don’t live or die by anything this early, as some guys will sink and some will swim. If you want hype, well, I’m not your kind of scout. As we say here at Baseball Beginnings, the players will rank themselves.
